Hydraulic Repair and Services

Hydraulics is one of our specialties. Before you go anywhere with your equipment, questions, or problems, give us a call to see how we can help you. We do most repairs in-house in our shop, and we can also send a technician on-site if needed. No job is too big or too small when it comes to hydraulic repair and services; we have repaired main boom cylinders from towering mobile cranes as well as cylinders from manufacturing equipment as short as two inches and less than a half inch in diameter.

Our Parker Certified hose assemblies allow us to meet the needs of our customers; and our machine shop allows us to make specialty cylinders in our facility if needed. We have three test benches for testing cylinders, pumps, motors, and hoses. We also have one of the largest cylinder disassembly machines in Central Florida allowing us to tackle any hydraulic cylinder repair. Some of the more common types of fluid power components we deal with are:

Cylinders: Tie-rod or welded style. JIC cylinders and custom cylinders. As small as 1/2" bore and as large as 12 foot bores. All mounting styles and positions. Accessories such as shaft bellows, counterbalance valves, clevises, and more. We have rebuilt virtually every style cylinder ever conceived, and by almost every manufacturer ever made. We can replace most cylinders if they are deemed beyond economic repair. We can often salvage hard to find cylinders by custom machining hard parts that fail such as shafts, clevises, and barrels. We can custom build cylinders as well.

Valves: Directional valves, proportional valves, servo valves, 2-way, 4-way, flow checks, counterbalances, manifold mount, in-line, ball valves, needle valve, and flow control valves. Manual or electrical. We can repair or replace virtually any valve on the market.

Pumps: Piston pumps, vane pumps, and gear pumps. Hydrostatic and hydrodynamic for a variety of mounts and uses. Pumps often wear in the body or on the valve plates. Bearings and seals often wear as well. We can fix most pumps in-house with a simple replacement of worn parts, or if it is damaged beyond repair we can replace it with a direct replacement or aftermarket solution.

Motors: We can repair or replace most motors on the market including older models by manufacturers no longer in business. Motors usually fail due to bad bearings or seals and can be salvaged with simple replacement parts. Motors beyond economic repair can be replaced directly or with aftermarket solutions.

Seals: Our seal catalog is as extensive as anyone's in the US. Usually money can be saved with aftermarket seal kits. Custom seals seal kits can be made when necessary.

Systems: Whether you need service and maintenance performed on an existing hydraulic power unit or need a new one built, we can do that. We can also provide service, maintenance, and installation of large built-in hydraulic systems. Pre-built power systems rarely meet the specific needs for the application - we can help with custom solutions.

Manifolds: We can clean and modify hydraulic manifolds as well as build new ones per your requirements.

Lifts: Many lift systems are hydraulic powered. Some use cylinders while some use hydraulic motors on a pulley or reel system. We are experienced with most of these set-ups and can provide services to repair or build your lift systems as needed.

Platforms: Hydraulic platforms are common in certain specialized industries. We can service and maintain these platforms as well as work with engineering to make changes as needed for your application.

And More! Some components and designs are more common than others, but be assured we have dealt with our fair share of uncommon designs. We have the capacity to tackle any specialty product.

* Our hydraulic repair including cylinder repair, valve repair, pump repair, and motor repair comes with a warranty. Check our bottom menu for a link to warranty information. Hydraulic power units and system installation also come with a warranty.
